It all started with an idea:

I want to build out a van and travel the country.

From there, after building out my own van and meeting my business partner on the road, we were inspired to build off-grid adventure vehicles for others. In early 2020, Featherbuilt was born. To date, I have had my hands in over a dozen full van conversions and 50+ partial builds. With a combination of interior design skills, wood and metal fabrication, and a lot of problem solving, hundreds of Featherbuilt customers are now out on the road, chasing their adventures.

“How do I do this?”

Building a van for yourself is one thing. Building a dream adventure vehicle for someone else is another thing. Over the years, I honed my skills as a business owner and taught myself how to plan and execute a project from start to finish.

From client acquisition to the final van pick-up day, I was involved in every step of each Featherbuilt project. Depending on the complexity, builds could range from $3k to $125k and required consistent monitoring.
