Lindsey Maxwell:

Who is she?

Background

My passion for all things creative has been a lifetime in the making. I’ve always loved art, design, photography, music, and making the world around me just a little more beautiful and fun. After years of hobby photography and part-time creative work, I decided to jump into pursuing photography and creative direction full-time.

Since starting my full-time pursuit, I’ve had the privilege of photographing over 100 couples and families, and have covered concerts and festivals in several states around the country. Recent festivals include Zootown Festival in Missoula, Treefort Festival in Boise, and Winter Wondergrass in Steamboat Springs, covering artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Hozier, The Infamous Stringdusters, and Daniel Donato.

What Brings Me Joy

TRAVEL

30 countries, 38 states, and a year living out of a self-built campervan.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

I've hiked, camped, climbed, skied, and backpacked across four continents and countless trails in the United States.

MUSIC

My passion for music photography is more than just enjoying live music. I’ve been in bands, a cappella groups, and sing and play 3 instruments.

Take risks

From the moment I met Andrea, Veronica, Virginia, and the rest of the family, I knew that my life was going to change.

With only 1 year of teaching under my belt and a few summers of being a camp counselor, I was thrown into a complete whirlwind when the Bocelli family found my childcare profile and offered me a job to be a live-in Au Pair on the coast of Tuscany.

Andrea Bocelli, still actively performing over 75 performances a year across 5 continents (while also being the chair of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation) is a busy man. On any given day, I may be told I have 2 hours to pack for a weekend in Moscow for the Russian Video Music Awards, or that Ed Sheeran is coming to the house to record a music video, or that we’re hosting a dinner with 200 guests for Celebrity Fight Night. No matter what lay ahead, I was prepared, professional, and faced each challenge with a positive attitude. Not only that, but I was exposed to a wide variety of professionals (and sometimes royalty) while managing a curious little girl.

During my three years abroad, I immersed myself in the culture and learned Italian, traveled all over Europe on work trips and during my time off, and blossomed in immeasurable ways.
